Roy Reehil
is the Co-Author of
Adirondack
Adventures (2012) and
Under an
Adirondack Influence--The Life of A. L. Byron-Curtiss
(2008) and was the principal owner of
The Forager Press, LLC and
Adirondack-Books.com until thier sale to Barndance Productions, LLC in September 2025. His new business is called Caulked Shoe, LLC, through which he books talks and presentations on Adirondack subjects, hermits, logging and railroads, and also sells vintage Adirondack books and memorabilia
He is currently serving as the 5th District Legislator in
Oswego County, NY representing
the Town of Constantia and
Village of Cleveland.
From 2004 to 2024 he was a wilderness first responder and Crew Boss for CASART, the Central
Adirondack Search and Rescue Team and has served as their treasurer and team president.
Roy's current lectures are "Occupation
Adirondack Hermit" and "French Louie and His Biographer."
